I started Trove because I kept running into the same question: when a company’s emails, messages, and code are worth $10 million to Google, what’s everyone else’s data worth?

Most coverage of AI stops at models and chips. Almost nobody covers the actual thing being bought and sold — the data. Not just scraped web text, either. Licensed archives, expert know-how, sensor feeds, records of how real businesses actually run. Someone has to follow that market, so I’m doing it.

Every Monday I send one issue: a deal broken down, a company profile, or an interview with someone selling or buying data. No hype, no jargon walls.

If you own data, need data, or just want to watch a new asset class get built in public, subscribe below.
